The Texas Voter Registration Application form is a form issued by the Texas state government. This form is usually filled out by aspiring voters residing in the state of Texas who want to be able to vote on Election Day.

You can fill out the Texas Voter Registration Application form if you are eligible to vote and are looking to become a registered voter in Texas.

What do I need to be able to fill out the Texas Voter Registration Application form?
You will need your full legal name, which includes your last name, first name, and middle name (if any). You will also be asked to indicate your former name if applicable.
You will also need to indicate your current residential address, which includes your street address and apartment number. You will also need to input your city, county, and zip code.
Following your current residential address, you will also be asked to indicate your current mailing address different from your residential address. For this, you will also be asked to indicate the city, state in which your mailing address is located, and zip code.
In addition to all addresses mentioned, you will be needing your city and county of former residence in Texas if applicable.
You will also be needing your date of birth in the MM/DD/YYYY format. You may choose to indicate your gender and say whether you are male or female and your telephone number, but neither of these two are required.
Finally, you will be needing your Texas Driver’s License No. or Texas Personal ID No. issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. However, if you have not been given either a Texas driver’s license or a Texas personal ID, then you may choose to input the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).
In order to verify all information on this form, you must affix your signature as well as the date of completion of the form.
How do I fill out the Texas Voter Registration Application form?
Before filling out the Texas Voter Registration Application form, ensure that all information that you are about to place is true and accurate. This form is a government-issued document, thus it should be treated with the utmost level of care and attention.
Look through the form carefully before filling it out, and take note of all the information that will be required of you. For your convenience, everything that you may need to fill out the form is listed above in the “What do I need to fill out the Texas Voter Registration Application form” section.
To ensure that you understand the requirements of each section of the form, we will be guiding you through the process of filling out the Texas Voter Registration Application form. Each section has a number corresponding to the that shown on the form.
Section 1
In this first section, you will be needing to tick the boxes that are appropriate to your answer.
You must first write down your reason for filling out the Texas Voter Registration Application form. If you are not yet a registered voter looking to apply to become one, check the box that says “New Application”. If you are filling out this form to indicate a change of address, name, or other information, then check the box that says “Change of address, name, or other information”. If you are requesting a replacement card, then check the box that is titled “Request for a replacement card”.
Following that, you will be asked to indicate whether or not you are a U.S. citizen. Check the “Yes or No” box corresponding to your answer.
You will then be asked if you will be 18 years of age on or before election day. Check the “Yes or No” corresponding to your answer.
Note that if you answered “No” to either of the two previous questions, you will be seen as ineligible to vote.
The final question of this section will ask if you are interested in becoming an election worker. Once again, you will be asked to check the “Yes or No” box that corresponds to your answer.
Section 2
This section will require you to enter your full legal name divided into parts.
On the very left, input your last name. If you have a suffix in your name, please include it as well in this part. In the next box, input your first name. Then, follow this up by placing your middle name, if any. Finally for this segment, place your former name if you have previously changed your legal name.
Section 3
You will be filling out this section using your current residential address.
In the first box, you will need to place your current street address and apartment number. If you currently have neither of these you will instead be asked to describe where you live. In the following boxes, you will also be asked to indicate the city, county, and ZIP code of your current residential address.
Section 4
If mail cannot be delivered to your current residential address, it will instead be sent to your mailing address which you must place in this section.
In the first box to the left, you will need to input the street address and apartment number of your mailing address. Much like the previous section, you will be asked to indicate the city and zip code of your mailing address, but this time you will also be asked to indicate the state in which your mailing address lies in.
Section 5
You will be asked to write down your city and county of former residence in Texas. Please do so in the space provided. If you do not have a former residence in the state, please indicate so.
Section 6
You will be asked to write down your date of birth in the MM/DD/YY format.
Section 7
You will be asked to indicate whether you are male or female. If you wish to answer this section, please indicate your answer by checking the box that corresponds to your gender. This section is optional.
Section 8
You will be asked to write down your telephone number. If you choose to answer this section, please include the area code when you are writing down your number. This section is entirely optional.
Section 9
This section requires you to write down your Texas driver’s license, Texas ID card, or your Social Security Number.
You will be asked to indicate the number of either your Texas Driver’s License or your Texas Identification Card, issued by the Department of Public Safety.
If you have neither a Texas driver’s license nor a Texas identification card, you can input the last four digits of your social security number on the right side of this section.
In the event that you do not have a Texas driver’s license, Texas identification card, or Social Security Number, then you must check the box that says “I have not been issued a Texas Driver’s License/Personal Identification Number or Social Security Number”.
Section 10
At the very end of the Texas Voter Registration Application form, you must affix your signature to show that all the information in this form is correct and truthful. You must also include the date of signing on the lower right side of the section.
