What is the Delaware Change of Address Form?


The Delaware Change of Address Form or also known as DMV Change of Address Form is a state-level form by the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Residents of the state of Delaware who are eligible to use it submit it to the Delaware DMV to change their address on their driver’s license and vehicle registration.


 


By using the Delaware Change of Address Form, you notify the Delaware DMV about your change of address, enabling them to update your address to reflect the new one on your driver and vehicle-related records. Once the Delaware DMV receives your application to change your address, you will receive new registration cards for your vehicles and your address will be changed on your driver’s license records. If you need to obtain a new driver’s license that reflects your new address, you must visit your local DMV office. Getting a new driver’s license that shows your new address has no cost.


 


Take note that the Delaware law requires its residents to notify the Delaware DMV within 30 days of changing addresses.
